Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Retail & Project Sales Supervisor to lead our unified Retail and Project Sales Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for departmental sales and gross-profit performance, sales-team leadership, key-account development, pipeline oversight and consistent CRM and sales-process discipline.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring regular customer visits, market presence, team coaching and sound commercial judgment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Retail and Project Sales Department and deliver agreed sales and gross-profit targets.
- Manage Sales Coordinators and hold them accountable for team execution and performance.
- Coach sales team members, address performance gaps and implement structured improvement plans.
- Develop priority and key customer accounts by increasing customer share, product penetration and long-term commercial value.
- Participate in strategic customer meetings, major negotiations and important project opportunities.
- Review pipeline and forecast performance and ensure timely corrective action.
- Maintain CRM discipline and compliance with approved sales SOPs.
- Protect gross profit through effective pricing and discount control.
- Review lead-management performance, including lead quality, assignment, response, follow-up and conversion.
- Conduct weekly departmental performance reviews and provide accurate management reports.
- Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Logistics and other supporting departments.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of Sales Coordinators and sales team members.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of successful sales-team supervision or leadership experience.
- Proven record of achieving team sales targets and managing sales performance.
- Relevant sales experience in Oman or another comparable GCC market.
- Experience in project sales, retail/B2C sales or a combination of both.
- Experience working with contractors, consultants, developers or project customers.
- Practical experience using CRM or ERP systems.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, coaching and performance-management skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Valid Oman driving license and willingness to work regularly in the market.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in lighting, electrical products or construction-materials sales.
- Experience managing sales teams through Coordinators or other first-line team leaders.
- Workable Arabic for customer communication and negotiation.
- Experience using Odoo or a comparable CRM/ERP platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related discipline.
